Harrah's In Chester Sees Revenue Fall for Third Straight Month Print

Harrah’s Chester Casino & Racetrack’s was one of five casinos in the state with a decline in gross terminal revenues this month, despite state gaming control board reports that overall revenue in Pennsylvania casinos is on the rise.

In fact, August marks the seventh consecutive month the Chester casino has seen slipping revenue numbers.

Soccer Stadium Helping Chester Print

Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell once said, “I believe this guarantees that Chester will be one of the first-class cities in Pennsylvania” (Ober, 2008).   The quote by Governor Rendell is a very strong statement because he believes the project of bringing a soccer stadium to Chester will get Chester back on the map.
